Which Windows Server Edition Do You Need?
- Standard – for physical or lightly virtualised servers. Get a Windows Server 2022 Standard key or Windows Server 2019 Standard key.
- Datacenter – for highly virtualised environments with unlimited virtual machines. See the Windows Server 2022 Datacenter key.
- Essentials – for small businesses with up to 25 users and 50 devices, such as the Windows Server 2019 Essentials key.
- RDS CALs – needed for each user who connects through Remote Desktop Services, e.g. Windows Server 2022 RDS CALs (50 users).
- SQL Server – run your databases with a genuine SQL Server 2019 Standard key.
How to Activate Windows Server
Your key is delivered by email straight after payment. Install Windows Server, then enter the key under Settings → Activation or with the slmgr command. Running an evaluation version?
